(SGGP) – Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has approved the “Plan for woodchips production management in the period of 2014-2020” to closely manage the production, processing and export of woodchips. This is to minimise the use of timber harvested from plantations to produce woodchips and to enhance the value of products made from plantation timber in the country, increasing the income for forest growers and contributing to poverty reduction.
