Timber Legality Toolkit
The table below shows the list of tools developed by the project ‘Increasing capacity of CSOs and SMEs to implement FLEGT requirements’. The project aims to give practical assistance to SMEs in the Vietnamese timber industry to trade in legal timber.
The tools listed here are those that are currently publically available, further tools are still in early stages of development and will be made available soon. The tools listed here are also still under development as the project team works with Vietnamese SMEs to trial them and engages other stakeholders for feedback on their effectiveness for risk avoidance and mitigation and user-friendliness. For this reason the team is actively seeking feedback on how the tools can be improved and will happily receive comments by phone or email: +84 (0)43200 5755 and VNFLEGT@nepcon.net
All tools are available in both English and Vietnamese.
To make it easier for you to identify and decide which tools to apply for your enterprise, we have developed a toolkit decision tree. Please click here for the visual guidance.
